BRAND STORY: FIRST IMPRESSIONS INTERIOR DESIGN BY JULIE WAGNER
Julie is a warm and friendly interior designer who is impeccable with her vision, her project management, and her dedication to taking exceptional care of clients. She loves what she does, and it shows.
Julie began her career more than a decade ago in Dallas, Texas, and has since relocated to fast-growing Chatham County within the Raleigh-Durham metro area of North Carolina. Over the course of her career, she has worked with both residential clients and with large commercial clients including Macy's, Tiffany's, JARED Galleria of Jewelry, Zales, Dillard's, Sears, JC Penney, McDonald's, Papa Murphy's, Blockbuster, and Service Merchandise.
She came to us for assistance revamping her brand and redesigning her website.
SCROLL DOWN TO SEE THE BRAND STORY
We began by taking the First Impressions logo from an image that looked more like clip art to the distinctive, simple charmer seen below.
The top and bottom shapes in the new logo represent walls of a home being opened up. We placed Julie's business name in between the walls to visually allude to her focus on residential interior design.
The first thing Julie said about her old website was that her engineer husband created it for her many years ago. We immediately agreed that while it's the thought that counts in a relationship, it's the visual brand identity with distinctive logo, rich imagery, and engaging content targeted to your audience that counts in business!
The old website was drab and dated-- words you don't want associated with a top-of-her-game interior designer. We got busy getting to know Julie, and in time we thoroughly updated her brand. In doing so, we positioned her interior design business for big success.
We chose a simple layout and color palette in order to let her images tell the stories. The result is a beautiful and functional foundation from which Julie can add to her portfolio and share her thoughts, ideas, and projects on her blog.
